BROADCASTING OFFICIAL RESIGNS

SYDNEY, February 27. chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Commission. Mr. W. J. Cleary, has resigned without giving any reasons, says the Canberra correspondent of the Sydney "Sun." It is understood that another resignation involving a key officer of the organisation is pending. The correspondent says that though Mr. Cleary is stated to have given no reason for his resignation it is \vid?lv know.n that he had been discontented with the influence exercised upon the Commission by the. Parliamentary Committee on Broadcasting under the chairmanship of Senator Armour.
