NATIONAL MUTUAL LIFE. As a result' of the transactions of the National Mutual Life Association for the year ended September 30, 1944, the assurance fund was increased by £2,199,348 to £55,978,228. The total net income for the year was £(>,584,447. Policy holders or their representatives received £3,(533,894 from the association during the year. The total of assurances in force at the end of the year, excluding bonus additions, was £130,728,676, and during the year 24,001 new policies were issued, assuring £10,740,546.
