LABOUR PARTY REQUEST
PROPAGANDA SCRIPT FROM UNITED STATES
Rec. 9 a.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 20. The "New York Post" says that the American Democratic National Committee has received a request from the Labour Party of New Zealand for the script and record of the electioneve broadcast used for Mr. Roosevelt's campaign. It adds that the Labour Party message said: "If we get it, we are in."
The broadcast was a programme in which leading entertainers participated.
"STORY FANTASTIC"
The Labour Party head office in Wellington stated today that it knew nothing about the matter mentioned in the cable and described the story as fantastic.
