GREEK GOVERNMENT
NO FURTHER CONCESSIONS TO THE ELAS
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) Rec. 9.45 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 5. The Athens correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says it is learned authoritatively that the Plastiras Government has 'sent a long letter to the EAM delegates attending the peace conference affirming that the Government is not prepared to make further concessions. The letter made it clear that the ELAS must now accept the Government's conditions or the conference will break down. Clashes have occurred in Greece beuween ELAS and Greek Government forces along the line which separates ™cm A under the truce terms, reports the Athens correspondent of the British United Press. British naval units are performing anti-piracy patrols, challenging all suspicious craft. A small outbreak of piracy has been reported, outlaw bands having seized speedboats.
