OPEN JAM TARTS

. You can easily make pastrycook's jam tarts with Fether Flake—the detttWiPJ^ 1 pastry sold ready tor use. JUST ROLL AND BAKE. Using- a 2in cutter, cut out as many pieces as possible. Then with a smaller cutter, remove the centres, leaving rings to form the tops of tarts. Gather the trimmings together, roll out again, and cut another set of 2in pieces. Moisten these with water and place a ring on each. Wash over with egg or milk and bake in a hot oven 10 minutes. The Fether Flake will rise beautifully leaving a nice well for, jam or lemon cheese. Fill after baking. Fether Flake is sold at these five Adams Bruce Shops only: Cuba Street; Manners Street (next the Plaza); 12 Willis Street (near the Grand Hotel); Riddiford Street, Newtown; and High Street, Lower Hutt.

For this and six other tested recipes, ask to have your Fether Flake wrapped in Recipe Sheet No. 6.—P.8.A.
