JAPANESE FLEET
GIVEN LIFE OF ONE YEAR - WASHINGTON, December 28. Forecasting that the Japanese, fleet will be liquidated, within a yeai% ViceAdmiral Mitscher, commander of the Third Pacific Fleet Carrier Forces, said that the Japanese must either come out and fight; or be cleaned out wherever they are* He added that land-based bombers in the Philippines will deny the enemy the use of the China Sea.
