ORDERED TO WORK
AUSTRALIAN MINERS SYDNEY, December 29. Senior executives of the Australian Miners' Federation today issued a formal direction ordering the fullscale resumption of work at all mines on Tuesday. The direction is signed by the miners' general president, Mr. H. Wells, the secretary, Mr. G. Grant, and the vice-president, Mr. W. Crook. The miners' leaders have, called for a 100 per cent, attendance oh Tuesday in the interests of the war effort and to give the lie to,suggestions that absenteeism after the holidaj's -is likely to be heavy. • . .
