MEETING AT STRATFORD Racing on the Taranaki.circuit, which commenced at New Plymouth, will be carried a further stage at Stratford on New Year's Day, with the second day on Tuesday. The presence of a large contingent of horses from Waikato and Auckland lends' interest to the fixture, and on the Stratford course, with its upward climb approaching the winning post, the form displayed at New Plymouth may' not' prove altogether reliable. .
