HITLER A GOD
GOEBBELS BOWS DOWN
TOWERING, LONELY GENIUS (By Telegraph—Press 'Association—Copyright.) Rec. noon. LONDON, Dec. 28.
"If the Fuhrer's head is slightly bowed it is because of his continuous study of staff maps," writes Goebbels / in "Das Reich." He adds: "Hitler's bedroom is no biggey than a sleeping compartment on an express train, and contains only a camp bed, and a table piled up with maps, statistics, and * memoranda.
"His sleepless nights, as well as his days, are spent among a close circle of collaborators, yet he is a lonely genius, towering in icy solitude above> his - fellows. No details, favourable or unfavourable; are hidden from him. Nobody can fool him. "He is still a vegetarian, and if everyone's table were as frugal there would be no food supply worries.----"It-would be silly to claim that five years of war have hot left a mark upon him, yet he has aged; no more than others with a similar weight upon their shoulders.. He can afford to keep silent for months, while his enemies, would like to force him to speak ill the hope that he will reveal his in- . tentions. '
"He.is the German miracle". If only the world knew how much*.' his love,. extends beyond his own people and towards the universe they would forswear false gods and turn to worship him." .^______
