Like Sir Isaac Newton, he arrived at his idea by watching an object fall from a tree, but in this case * was a tiny winged sycamore seed. As he watched it spiral to earth, in ms mmd he formed plans for the "sky hook,' a container for carrying 701b of supplies to earth more accurately than any parachute.
