"West Scotland shipyards and factories held meetings of protest against the Government's attitude to Greece and resolutions demanding1 that the Government shall arrange an. armistice we're telegraphed to Mr. Churchill. * A demonstration of 2000 people in. Manchester passed a resolution "deploring Britain's intervention in the internal affairs of the Greek people." and declaring: "It is outrageous that British forces are being1 used against proved Greek anti-Fascists."
