REHABILITATION CENTRE
SYDNEY, November 26,
Generous public subscriptions, already totalling £400,000, are responsible for a broadened plan to build in Sydney a comprehensive Anzac rehabilitation centre costing £1,000,000. Originally it was planned to build a club for use by ex-servicemen of both wars at a cost of £150,000. However, the way in which contributions have continued to pour in for the Arizac House appeal has now encouraged a scheme for a vastly expanded rehabilitation centre, with specialised vocational guidance bureaus, assembly halls, council chambers, library and war history "museum, medical diagnosis and treatment rooms, gymnasiums, swimming baths, chapels, accommodation, dining hall, theatre, and broadcasting station. , An impressive architect's design has 'been prepared.
