HOSPITALS OVERFLOW
Rec. 9 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 22. A grave shortage of hospital accommodation has developed throughout Australian cities. The position is particularly serious in Sydney. The chairman of the Hospitals Commission, Dr. A. .B. Lilley, said today that the Australian shortage was 17,000 beds. An adequate reorganisation of Australia's hospital system would cost £10,000,000.
