VOROSHILOV RETIRED
Rec. 10 a.m. MOSCOW, Nov. 22. It is announced in the Russian Press that Marshal Voroshilov has been relieved of his duties as a member of the Russian Defence Council. He will be replaced by General Nikolai Bulganin.
Marshal Klimenti Voroshilov, who is 64 years of age. commanded the Ukrainian 10th and 14th Armies during the Civil War and was People's Commissar for Defence since 1925. He was commander on the north-west front in the first year of the present war, and since then member of the Russian Defence Council.
