POWER TO BE ASKED SOON
LONDON, November 22 Mr. Forde, in his. statement at Canberra, made it plain that the taking over of air services operating between the various States was intended as a permanent measure. Power would be sought for the action early next year, he said.
A correspondent comments that this announcement means that the Labour Government is making the first big move towards fulfilling its policy of nationalisation of public utilities and services.
