Flames from a gas jet ignited a quan« tity of surplus wax which was lying on a machine in a shoe factory at 122 Hanson Street yesterday evening Damage was done to part, of ths machinery near the wax and' to a little of the flooring. The fire was extin* guished by the Fire Brigade in aboul ten minutes.
