During the month the members of the Blind Social Club. have Jield an evening and an afternoon social and have.been the guests of .the Wellington Repertory Society, A i.t'its presentation of Lady Frederick. The staff of the. "Cosy" cake shop w&-e the guests of honour at the. evening ' function, when piano-accordion items were given by. Miss S.choles and songs by Mrs. Andrews. The study circle glee singers entertained the members, provided tea at. the afternoon social, the programme being arranged by. 'Mrs. Onthwaite. Items were'-also given'by Miss Clarice ijrowii (elooutionary) and .Miss Marie Gleeson and Miss .
