Mosquitoes, despite very hazy weather, attacked and stopped 18 trains m Germany and Holland during last night, bringing the total number of trains attacked to 134 in four consecutive nights. Barges were also strafed on the Rhine and on parts of the Dortmund-Ems Canal north of Munster.
An Air Ministry communique says that Bomber Command aircraft last night laid mines i n enemy waters and attacked objectives in western Germany. Four are missing. _ Reuters correspondent with the Tactical Air Force in Belgium reports that six jet-propelled Messerschmitt 262 s in the Nijmegen area jettisoned their bombs in open country and made off when Spitfires attacked them. The majority of the German planes sighted were of the jet type, but the total strength operating was only 20 planes.
