CANBERRA PACT

AUSTRALIAN VISIT

The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) stated in the House of Representatives this afternoon that "a delegationfrom the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, consisting of the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr. Forde) and Dr. Evatt, Minister of External Affairs, would arrive in New Zealand at the end of the month for a conference with the New Zealand Government in accordance with the terms of the Canberra Agreement. The Prime Minister added that this visit would influence the date of the adjournment of the House.
