TWO FLYING-BOMB PLANES DESTROYED
Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, September 29. Two Heinkel Ill's used for launching flying bombs against England were destroyed over the North Sea last night by R.A.F. fighters. They sent only a few 'flying bombs over the east coast. Dwellings in the London civil defence region damaged and made not habitable as the result of flying bomb attacks totalled 52,277. Mr. Willink Minister of Health, told a questioner in the House of Commons. A further 77,030 are seriously damaged but habitable and 873,177 less seriously damsged.
