MR. C. J. P. DREWITT

P- A T - ■™/ ; WAIROA, This Day. Mr. Charles John Palmer Drewitt, A.1.E.E., A.1.M.E., died in Napier today at the age of 74. For the past 20 years Mr. Drewitt was electrical.engineer to the Wairoa Power Board, and since the outbreak of war had acted as Electricity Controller in the Wairoa district. He saw service in the last war, returning with the rank of engineer commander from the Royal Navy. Prior to coming to Wairoa he was lecturer of electricity at Wellington Technical College.
