SUPPLIES FOR WARSAW
Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY, September 18. United States Flying Fortresses -carried equipment to 'he -Poles in Warsawtoday, and afterwards landed, behind the Russian lines. Previously the R.A.F. planes had taken supplies to Warsaw and returned to their own bases. Lately the Hussian»air force has also been dropping equipment. .
The large force of Mustangs which, escorted the Fortresses as fai* as Warsaw shot .down some enemy fighter* over Germany on their way "home.—• 8.0. W.
