IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS
LONDON, September 18.
Important developments are occurring along the eastern front from the Gulf of Finland to the Bulgarian frontier., with the Red Army scouting, consolidating, and building up in the last phase of its preparations for the coming assault against every German-
held position, says the Associated Press correspondent in Moscow.
The German radio reports that the Russians have concentrated 45 Tine divisions south of Riga, and are attacking the German lines on a grand scale. LONDON, September 17. The Red Army has crossed the Bul-garian-Greek frontier in the direction' of. Demirhissar and Salonika? according to the Exchange Telegraph's Istanbul correspondent.
