LONDON, September 16. . Two New Zealanders who are filling important posts with the RAF in France are Wing Commanders Alan Deere (Wanganui) and R. D. Yule (Invercargill).

*v nJ Commander Deere is one of the officers in charge of plans at the control centre of the R.A.F. group supporting the Canadian Army, and WingCommander Yule holds a similar position at the control centre of the grout) supporting the British Army. Their responsibility is to decide what type of fighter aircraft should attack various targets—whether Spitfires, with or without bombs, and typhoons, with rockets or cannons. -They also deal with requests from the Army which require certain targets to be attacked from time to time
