REPRESENTATIVE SOCCER
A match between a Wellington' representative Association football team and a Delta Air Force, team resulted in a draw on Saturday afternoon, 2-all. Play started slowly, Wellington particularly finding it difficult to settle down and play as a team. The Wellington defence,, however, was very sound, and though Delta forced the play, their scoring movements were broken up time after time. Scorers for Delta were Wilkinson and Swain and for Wellington, Upchurch and McKinley Other results were:— Victory Cup (final).—Seatoun 5 beat Diamond 3 after a great game, In which Diamond were leading 3-1 at half-time. Scorers: For Seatoun, A. Murphy (2), C. Yeoman (2), and one accidentally; for Diamond, Tointon Teelian, and Flett. ; ' Power Cup.—Moera 5.0., 2, drew with Petone 2. Scorers: For Moera, Barker (2): for Petone, Leslie (2). 'V- ■
