Rec. 9 a.m. MELBOURNE, August 21. The story cabled from Auckland concerning a legacy of £500,000 being left to Albert Edward Fox, of Hamilton, from "the estate of his father, late of Geelong, is officially denied by a brother, who says that Albert Edward Fox has inherited only a small legacy. The bulk, of the estate, he said, was absorbed in the upkeep of the mother, who died a few weeks ago, aged 93. The father did not leave a large sum.
