BONIN ISLANDS
HUGE FLEET ON MOVE' ■

Eec. 9.30 a.m. , NEW YORK, July 11. "American forces . are revengefully aiming- for the Bonin
Islands, and the United States is sending out the Third and Fourth
Pacific Fleets and the Fifty-eighth Task Force with 100 carrier- " based planes to devour the inner South Seas,'' declared Tokio official radio. -
It is pointed out that the Bonin Islands constitute the southern Stronghold of Japan's homeland.
In . another; broadcast Tokio radio stated: "A very poAverful enemy fleet is cruising north-west of Tinian Island. The fleet consists of two aircraft-carriers and 30 cruisers and destroyers.''
It was added that 90 planes attacked Guam yesterday. Cruisers and destroyers shelled the Japanese positions and other aircraft bombed Tinian and Rota.
Fifty small planes and several large planes have been observed % on Aslito airfield on Saipan.
