A fine finishing burst by Petono, which gave the side a convincing win over Newtown at Newtown Park, was a feature of the Wellington Rugby League's senior match play on Saturday afternoon, as also was the highscoring performance by Karodale. Results were:— Senior A. —Petone 17 (tries by Sullivan 3, and Greenstreet 2, Corkln converted one). Newtown 5 (a try by Gastro, Converted by Beaton). Korodiile 32 (tries by McKeitch 3, Martin 3, Bollon and Balderston, four conversions by Bevnn) beat Miramiir 9 (tries by Melntosh 2, and Gollop). Itanclwlck A 0, Aotea 5. B Grade.—Waterside 17 (tries by Drury, Carrell, Mclntyrc, Allen, and Uellaway, one conversion by Nunns), Army 0. Hokowhltu-Atu 30 (tries by P. Simmonds 3, Edgeconibe 3, McLean and Itaurangi, three conversions by Hemi) beat Clifton Rovers 0. Central-St. George 5, Randwick B 0.
