CHARGE BY GERMANS
LONDON, June 25,
A German High Command official announcement says: "Reports from the Cherbourg area state that the Allies shot German prisoners of war who were members of the German Army - in the uniform of the Reich labour service and clearly recognisable as combatants. If the reports should prove true, 10 American prisoners of v\jar will be shot for every German murdered." .
