POLAND AND AMERICA
WASHINGTON, June 5,
The Prime Minister of Poland, M. Stanislav MikolajezvK, has arrived here as the guest of the United States Government. The Associated Press said that the visit raised the hope of a better understanding between the Polish regime and Moscow.
The Under-Secretary of State, Mr. E. R. Stettinius, said that America's offer of her good offices in the RussoPolish dispute was still open, but she had no new proposals. He added that there would be a general exchange of views. Mr. Stettinius said it was his impression that the Russian and British Governments had been advised regarding the trip.
