SEATOUN R.S.A.
Those present at the annual meeting of the Seatoun branch of the Wellington R.S.A. included a number of Second World War ex-servicemen, four of whom were elected to office for the ensuing year. The president (Mr. C. A. Perry) stressed, the need for all returned men to stick together, and to bring their problems to the branch executive, who would do their utmost to have any difficulties smoothed out. Keen interest was aroused in the proposed clubroom scheme for the district. Appreciative references were made to the good work done during the year by the women's section of the branch. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. G. A. Hay den; president, Mr. C. A. Perry; vice-president, Mr. A. E. Wixon; hon. secretary, Mr. H. Pettit; hon. treasurer, Mr. E. J. Elliott; committee, Messrs. G. Brodie, C. Exton, H. A. Fanselow, H. G. Field, S. Grigg, L. T. Mills, R. Raine, and J. A. Wilson; delegates to W.R.S.A. Council, I Messrs. C. A. Perry and A. E. Wixon.
