1 .The death '■■ occurred:; recently in Surrey, England, .of Mrs., Andrew Anderson. -.-Mrs. Anderson Was formerly Miss Mills, of Wellington, and after- her; marriage to Mr. , Andrew Anderson, a iriember of one of tho pioneer families of Canterbury, lived at Opawa until her husband's' death. She. later lived for ten. years at Kowai ißush,and some seven years ago left ifor England. She had been an invalid ' for the past eighteen months and lived with a daughter,', Mrs. H. Ferrar, in [Surrey.' Another daughter, Miss Mabel Anderson; Kowai Bush, left; New. Zea,land for England some time ago and rejoined her; mother in- Surrey shortly before Mrs. Anderson's death. There is a family of three daughters and four sons-r-Mrs. Ferrar (Surrey), Mrs. Guy Foster (India), Miss Anderson (KowaiBush), Lieutenant-Colonel . Gibson Anderson (England), Commander Hugh Anderson (Christchurch), Mr. Arnott Anderson (North Canterbury), and Major Gerald "H. Anderson (Christchurch). . , •
