A Patriotic Fund Subscriber.—The party you refer to comprises professional performers, and it was stated when inquiries were made officially that, as such, they were entitled to be paid for their services. It was also stated that the members of the party had been put. into uniform for tho purposes of discipline and In the event of any question of compensation arising for injury. The expense involved is not being borne by tho patriotic funds, but out of an item in tho Broadcasting Account making provision for entertainment for members of the forces.
