WORK OF CHINESE BOMBERS

Rec. 9 a.m. CHUNGKING, May 12. A Chinese communique reports that; the air forces supporting the Chinese ground operations destroyed over 30 - vehicles in the Loyang area, blew up an artillery position at Rwantilin; bombed seven enemy launches near Tungtan, on- the Yellow River, and also "killed many Japanese west of Tengfeng. ■ « In the course of these operations six Japanese intercepting planes were shot down and two more probably destioyed. All the Chinese planes returned.
