VAUDEVILLE SHOW

Commencing a six-night season, a vaudevjlle show and amateur trials were presented at the Opera House last night by Mr. Vernon Spencer. The programme was interestingly varied, with the exploits of a "Man. of Mystery" as the high light of the first, part. There were tap ballets, an exhibition of rope-spinning, music from the harmonica, singing, dancing, and monologues—in short, for those who like vaudeville and amateur trials,, everything that they could desire. Though the performers may not be of the first rank, at least, the show was entertaining, with:enough bright turns to make It well worth seeing.
