KILLED IN MELBOURNE?
SYDNEY, March 6. The police allege that the murder of Linda Agostini occurred at a premises in Swanston Street, Carlton, Melbourne, on August 26, 1934. Before her marriage the girl was a Sydney usherette and was at one time a hairdresser on the liner Aorangi. A^few weeks ago a new body of deteßlves was called in to approach the case with fresh minds ready to discover any fact that might have -escaped previous notice. s These detectives concentrated on a file concerning the disappearance of Linda Platt, a native of England, who went from there to New Zealand and then went on to Sydney. She was traced in Melbourne in 19,33. >
