DROWNED IN WATERHOLE

p A. AUCKLAND, This Day. Bryan Valentine Bourke, aged two, son of Mr. V. Bourke, of New Lynn, was found drowned in a waterhole this afternoon. He had been playing in the paddock and was missed by his mother at about 1.20 p.m. Neighbours helped her in a search and he was found lying in three feet of water in the hole, which is only 100 yards from his home. Artificial respiration was tried for about three-quarters of an hour without success.
