HANDICAPPER RESIGNS
Mr. G. Paul, handicapper to the New Zealand Trotting Conference, has resigned on account of ill-health, and Mr. A. R. Neilson, who for two years has been assistant-secretary to the New Zealand Trotting Association, has been appointed to the position. Mr. Paul was handicapper to the Auckland. Wellington, New Zealand Metropolitan, and New Brighton Trotting Clubs for several years before the yards system of handicapping was adopted by the New Zealand Trotting Conference about ten years ago. . He compiled the tables governing the administration of the new system, and when the conference took control of handicapping for all clubs, Mr. Paul was appointed senior handicapper. During Mr. Paul's illness, Mr. Neilson has compiled the handicaps.
