ATTACKS ON MARSHALLS
WASHINGTON, January 26. For the twentieth successive day American aircraft have raided atolls in the Japanese-held Marshall Islands. Gun emplacements, airfield facilities, and living areas were effectively bombed. Over one atoll 30 enemy fighters attempted interception. At least one was shot down. No United States planes were lost on all these operations.
