DISCHARGE PAY IN U.S.A.

WASHINGTON, January 27. Congressional action was completed today on the legislation governing armed forces' mustering out pay. This provides 300 dollars for each member of the Services overseas or in Alaska-, 200 dollars for service ofThore than 60 days in uniform within the United States, and 100 dollars for those with fewer than 60 days' service. All service men and women under the rank of captain are eligible except those over 38 years who ask for their discharge to take a civilian job, and those dishonourably discharged, or who have become students in the army's education programme.
