LONDON, January. 19. The idea that Germany cannot win the war seems at least to have penetrated the German army, says the Algiers correspondent of the "New York Times." Nazis captured in Tunisia were mostly defiant, professing the belief that Germany would win, but those captured later reflect a more realistic view. They still maintain a proud military demeanour, but admit that they know the tide has i turned definitely against Hitler. ■
