WARNING TO EMPLOYERS

People who employ military defaulters commit a breach of the regulations, and the Director of National Service announced today that in order to avoid the risk of employing defaulters an employer should take special precautions to establish the identity of any applicants for work, especially those who anpear to be of military age. , In the ordinary course, the director states, identity can be established by the production by the apiXicant of his social security book and ration book, but in any case where there is doubt and where identity has not been established the prospective employer should communicate with the nearest police station or the district manpower office.
