DECISION OF COLOMBIA
Rec. 2 p.m. RUGBY, January 18. Colombia is now at war with the Axis. The signature of President Lopez at the White" House yesterday J brought this South American Republic from the ranks of the eleven Associated Nations to join the 33 who have declared their adherence to the United Nations' declaration of January 1, 1942. Colombia is the twelfth of the Latin American. States to join the United Nations, and its adherence means that the United Nations' territory extends continuously from Greenland through North and Central America to Brazil. — 8.0-.W-"
