MAN CHARGED WITH SHOOTING P.A. PAHIATUA, This Day. A shooting affray occurred at Pori 20 miles from Pahiatua, yesterday afternoon, when Godfrey Neville Green was shot in the left arm and left side of the chest with a revolver. The police and a doctor were summoned from Pahiatua and investigations were made. Later the police inspector at Palmerston North was advised and a party of police were dispatched from Palmerston North last night. r^he home of William Robert Alfred Hollis, farm manager, Pori, was surj rounded, and the police rushed it at dawn this morning, only to find him in bed. He was brought to Pahiatua this morning and charged in the Police Court, before Justices of the Peace with attempted murder. He was remanded for seven days to appear at Palmerston North. Green's condition is not regarded as serious and he will be taken today mto the Masterton hospital for an -?i-ray.
