FIGHTING IN YUGOSLAVIA
RUGBY, January 17. Heavy fighting continues in central, western, and eastern Bosnia, states a Yugoslav communique. A strong German column was successfully attacked on the road from Kocevje to Rakek, and the enemy sustained heavy losses in men and material. Near Girotza an enemy garrison was liquidated.— 8.0. W.
