AZORES AGREEMENT

LONDON, January 4.
The agreement between Britain and Portugal for the use of bases in the Azores, according to reports reaching Madrid from Vichy, has been extended to Madeira, where British troops are reported to have landed. There is no confirmation of this in Portuguese official circles;
