RECENT NAVAL ACTION
Rec. noon. RUGBY, Jan. 4. For good services mx the naval action in which the Schai-nhorst was sunk, Admiral Sir Bruce becomes a G.C.B. Vice-Admiral Burnett a K.C.B. Captain Addis Bain Parham Ruswell Meyriclc receives the D.5.0., and Lieutenant-Commander Walmsley is given a bar to his \D.S.O. Commander Fisher, Lieutenant-Com-mfinder Cluston. and Lieutenant Bates are awarded the D.S.C.
For gallantry in the battle with German destroyers in the Bay of Biscay last week^ Captain Clarke, R.N., and Captain Grant, R.C.N., receive the D.5.0.— 8.0.W.
