ODIOUS PRESENCE

MOSLEY NOT WANTED

Rec. 10.40 a.m

LONDON, January 4,

Residents of the Cotswold village of Shipton-under-Wyohwood have signed a petition calling for the removal of Sir Oswald Mosley and his return to gaol. Mosley has been living in a hotel there since his release. The village has a population of 700.

The petition, which has 120 signatures, says: "We don't want him here." It will be forwarded to the local M.P.

A petition is also being signed in some neighbouring villages.

Copies of both petitions are being sent to Mr. Churchill and Mr. Herbert Morrison.
