SEVENTH-DAY Adventist- teaching shown- to be at complete variance with the true facts concerning the Sabbath as revealed in the Scriptures. . The true facts (which show that Sabbath-keeping is not incumbent upon Christians) are:—(l) That the command "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy" has at no time been given to all the world, but. to one nation only, i.e., to Israel, the chosen nation, forming part of its law^known as '.'The law of Moses." (Ex. 20 :8, Ex. 35:1-2, Deut. 4-8 Neh. 9:13-14, Neh. 13:15-22, Esther 3:8, Eze. 20:1-13, Psa. 147:19-20, Lam. 1:7, Roms. 2:14.) (2) That Christ was "The end of the law for righteousness" (Roms. 10 :5), "Nailing it t6 His Cross" (Cols. 2:14). See also Roms. 7-4 2 Cor. 3:6-14, Gals. 2 :16, Gals. 3:19-26, Gals. 5:1, Eph. 2.-15, Acts 15:5-10, Acts 15:24. (3) That now God's people (followers of Christ) must obey not the law of Moses (the Old Covenant), but the Law of Christ (the New Covenant), for said Christ, "Ye are My friends if you do whatsoever I command you" (John 15:14, John 14:15, John 14:21-24, John 10:27, Luke 6:46, Hebs. 5:9, Hebs. 12:18-24). (4) That nowhere in the Law of Christ is to be , found the command, "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy," but in contrast will be found "Let no man judge you;. . . in respect ... of the Sabbath" (Cols. 2 :16, Roms. 14:4-6, Acts. 20:7). Reader, for further enlightenment concerning the foregoing and Bible teaching generally you should read our free literature. '■'• A supply will be sent on application to "BIBLE TRUTH," Box 98.
