R.S.A. CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL.
The R.S.A. carnival, to be held at the Basin Reserve during the Christmas holidays, promises to be an outstanding attraction. Arrangements have been made for the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band to be in attendance daily, and many open-air evening concerts have been fitted into a very comprehensive programme. The whole ground will be floodlit each evening, and many of the side attractions which were at the Exhibition will be in operation. Two afternoons have been set aside for a baby show and a bathing beauty contest, both being sponsored by local organisations. The carnival will be in aid of the premises appeal for the Wellington Returned Servicemen's Association.
